Fine 18/8 stainless steel mesh holds back the smallest leaf particles while water moves freely through the leaves, so every brew comes out at the strength you set.

The laser-etched mesh wraps the sides and the rim, giving a large brewing surface for loose leaf teas that need room to open up. A curved top rim seats the basket securely in the pot mouth and gives you something to grip when the brew is done, and the whole basket lifts out in one motion if you would rather steep teabags. Measures 8.1cm across the rim including the lip, with a 6.5cm base diameter, sized to fit 950ml Siena teapots from Avanti.
