The Modena coffee plunger brews a full pot of filtered coffee while keeping it hotter for longer, thanks to its 18/8 stainless steel twin wall construction. Avanti built the jug with a mirror-polished finish and a 1 litre capacity, enough for eight cups, so it suits a full breakfast table or a shared afternoon coffee.
A fine stainless steel mesh filter sits inside the plunger rod, drawing out the coffee's natural oils and flavour as it's pressed, rather than trapping them in a paper filter. The spout is shaped to pour cleanly without dripping down the side of the jug, and the whole unit comes apart easily for cleaning between brews, with all parts safe to run through the dishwasher.
