This Avanti rolling pin is made from durable rubberwood and measures 50cm long overall with a 6cm diameter barrel, giving plenty of surface to roll out large sheets of pastry or dough in fewer passes. The heavy cylinder is mounted on a steel rod with nylon bushings at each end, so the two handles turn smoothly and independently of the barrel for even pressure and controlled rolling from edge to edge. Simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry - it isn't dishwasher safe, so avoid soaking or submerging the wood.
