Made from PTFE-coated fibreglass mesh, it withstands temperatures up to 260°C (500°F), and its non-stick surface wipes clean by hand or in the dishwasher, cutting out the need for foil, baking paper or extra oil. Because the mesh lets hot air reach the underside of the food as well as the top, results come out more evenly crisp than on a solid baking tray, without the extra oil a deep fryer needs.
