Expanding Sink Colander – Joie

This expanding sink colander slides open to fit across most standard kitchen sinks, turning the sink itself into a hands-free straining station for pasta, vegetables and freshly washed produce.

Made from BPA-free, food-safe plastic and heat safe up to 113°C, the colander expands to bridge the sink and holds food above the drain, leaving both hands free for stirring, rinsing or getting on with the next step of the meal. Once the job is done, it collapses back down into a flat, compact shape that tucks away far more easily than a rigid colander, which matters where drawer and cupboard space is already stretched thin.
